Form Me Up Keratin Waving System Spray 200 ml
Form Me Up Keratin Waving System is a professional spray for creating lasting waves, curls and volume. Its formula contains cysteamine, hydrolysed keratin, botanical extracts and nourishing oils. Spray application supports controlled work on rollers and root-lifting techniques such as Push-Up. The product is recommended for suitable short natural or colour-treated hair.
The final curl depends on hair condition, roller size, winding technique and processing time. This is the 200 ml waving spray; Neutralizer Texturizer and the other products required by the full protocol are supplied separately.
Professional assessment and exclusions
The system is recommended for suitable short natural or colour-treated hair. It is not recommended for bleached hair. A hairdresser must review treatment history, complete the pre-service consultation and carry out a wet-strand test. Do not proceed if the wet hair stretches abnormally, crinkles or breaks. Severely damaged areas may need cutting or intensive conditioning before any further assessment.
A skin patch test is recommended 24 hours before the service, at the back hairline or on the inner arm between wrist and elbow. Rinse immediately with plenty of lukewarm water if a reaction occurs.
Contraindications include the first or third trimester of pregnancy; chemotherapy, hormonal stimulation or other intensive medication; severely damaged, bleached or overprocessed hair; hair that fails the wet-strand test; colouring within the previous seven days; henna; bleaching; and previous nanoplasty, keratin, protein or other permanent straightening. Conditioning does not override these exclusions.
Professional treatment sequence
- Wash twice with Form Me Up care shampoo. Use appropriate cleansing shampoo if product or oil buildup needs removal.
- Towel-dry, section and wind the hair on rollers, protecting the ends with perm papers. Moisten the rollers with water before applying the waving spray.
- Apply the spray evenly. Use a plastic cap and cotton strips around the hairline as directed.
- Check the curl at ten minutes and again at fifteen minutes only when the permitted time and hair condition allow. Natural hair: 10–20 minutes. Coloured hair: 10–12 minutes, maximum 15 minutes.
- Without removing the rollers, rinse continuously with warm water for five to ten minutes. Thoroughly blot excess water with a towel.
- Gently dry the rollers with lukewarm air from a hairdryer for five minutes.
- Apply Neutralizer Texturizer to each roller using a narrow-nozzle applicator, working from the back towards the front. Leave for five minutes.
- Carefully remove the rollers, reapply a small amount of neutraliser and gently scrunch to distribute it. Leave for a further three minutes.
- Wash with Perm Active acidifying shampoo, rinse, apply Perm Active acidifying mask for ten to fifteen minutes and rinse thoroughly.
- Distribute Form Me Up 10 in 1 and a small amount of Curl Power, scrunch for around five minutes, then dry with a diffuser using lukewarm airflow.
Aftercare
Wait at least 72 hours before washing after the complete service. Use Form Me Up shampoo and mask, followed by 10 in 1 and Curl Power, scrunching the damp curls for at least five minutes. For ongoing styling, use a diffuser with cooler airflow or allow natural drying. Use a wide-toothed comb rather than brushing the curls. Wait seven days before colouring and avoid chlorine, salt water and excessive sun exposure without suitable hair protection.
