Golden is designed for professional care of dry, rough, damaged and lacklustre hair. It also suits curls in need of softness and bounce. Treatment and neutralising mask: two complementary stages
Stage 1: intensive nourishing treatment
The Golden treatment combines coconut butter, panthenol and urea in a conditioning formula. It also contains hydrolysed corn protein and the amino acids histidine, arginine and lysine. The care is designed to improve softness, smoothness and the condition of hair in need of nourishment.
Stage 2: treatment-neutralising mask
After rinsing out the treatment, apply the Golden neutralising mask. It is the second stage of the treatment and is already included in the set. Its formula with coconut butter and panthenol complements the care, helping leave the hair soft, smooth and easier to style.
No straightener required, with optional treatment support
Golden can be performed without a hair straightener. The stylist may support the treatment with a cap, ultrasonic infrared hair-care device, hair steamer or infrared processor, choosing the technique and settings for the hair condition and appropriate protocol. Steamers and infrared processors use heat; this treatment does not require hot straightener plates.
How to perform the treatment
- Wash the hair twice with a cleansing shampoo, or three times if there is heavy product build-up. Towel away excess moisture.
- Apply the treatment strand by strand, keeping 1–2 cm away from the scalp. Distribute evenly with a comb and ensure the strands are well coated.
- Leave the treatment on for 30 minutes. Choose any supporting equipment according to the professional protocol.
- Rinse the treatment out thoroughly and towel away excess moisture.
- Apply the Golden neutralising mask to the lengths and ends. Leave for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
- Blow-dry thoroughly and style as desired. A hair straightener is not required.
Aftercare
wait at least 48 hours before the first wash. Choose a shampoo and mask from the Golden Home Care range for home use. How long the result lasts depends on the hair condition, application and aftercare.
